The Rochester Center for Sexual Wellness provides biopsychosocial assessment and treatment planning for common and complex sexual issues in people of all genders and ages.


The Center is comprised of a sexual medicine specialist as well as two certified sex therapists. In addition to medical and psychosocial evaluation of sexual issues, we offer individual, couple, and group therapy for a variety of sexual issues.  In addition to our clinical work, we share a mission to provide education on sexual issues to the medical and mental health communities as well as to the public.

Pebble Kranz, MD, FECSM

Dr. Kranz, after an enjoyable 10 year career in professional theater, graduated from the Warren Alpert Medical School of Brown University and completed her family medicine training with University of Rochester/Highland Hospital Family Medicine Residency Program. She served as chief resident and continued as a member of the residency program's core faculty with a focus on the psychosocial/behavioral health curriculum. She subsequently pursued additional training in sexual medicine through the European Society of Sexual Medicine, the International Society for the Study of Womens Sexual Health, and the American Association of Sexuality Counselors Educators and Therapists. In addition to clinical work in sexual medicine she teaches residents and medical students about sexual issues in healthcare.

Daniel Rosen, LCSW-R, CST

Mr. Rosen is a psychotherapist and AASECT Certified Sex Therapist.  Since 1998 he has been delivering high quality psychotherapy services to individuals, couples, and families. Mr. Rosen earned a masters degree in Social Work in 1991 from New York University. Additionally, he has earned certification in EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing), advanced training in sex therapy through AASECT (American Academy of Sexual Educators Counselors and Therapists), as well as extensive training in providing neurofeedback.  Mr. Rosen has training in individual psychotherapy with children and adults, as well as counseling for couples. Mr. Rosen serves as adjunct faculty for the University of Buffalo Social Work Graduate Program teaching social work students about assessment and treatment of sexual issues. William Kelly, LCSW-R, DST

Mr. Kelly is a NYS Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Registered for 3rd Party Payments (LCSW-R).  He is a Diplomate in Sex Therapy and Certified Supervisor with the American Association of Sex Educators, Counselors and Therapists (AASECT) and a Clinical Member of the Association for the Treatment of Sexual Abusers (ATSA).  He has served as a Board Member for AASECT, the Board President of the Gay Alliance of the Genesee Valley and as a Board Member for NYS ATSA. His career includes work in residential treatment, and director of different outpatient and inpatient mental health and substance abuse treatment centers.  His practice includes the treatment of sexual functioning problems, addressing sexual behavior issues/ sexual compulsions, supporting persons in the process of gender transition, and sexual identity integration. He has been adjunct faculty and lecturer for numerous universities on topics associated with human sexuality. Mr. Kelly has been and is a consultant to numerous agencies and clinics over the past 30+ years of issues of sex and sexuality. Mr. Kelly holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Social Work from the Rochester Institute of Technology, an MSW from Virginia Commonwealth University, and in 2003-2004 he completed a LEAH Fellowship at the University of Rochester School of Medicine and Dentistry in the Department of Pediatrics. Megan Barrett, LPMFT, CST

Megan strongly believes in the power of telling one’s own story while in the safety of a compassionate and accepting environment. She specializes in providing sex therapy for individuals and couples struggling with sexual desire and functioning, compulsive sexual behaviors, and LGBT concerns. She values the unique qualities of each couple system, working with them to build on their strengths to obtain the quality of life they desire. She uses multiple therapeutic research-based approaches including family systems, cognitive-behavioral, mindfulness-based therapy, and brief solution focused therapy. Megan received her Masters of Science in Family Therapy from Friends University in Wichita, Kansas. She has provided services in a private practice setting in Oklahoma for the past 3 years specializing in sex therapy. She is currently a Certified Sex Therapist through the American Association of Sexuality Educators, Counselors, and Therapists (AASECT). Megan is currently working towards her independent license in the state of New York under a Limited Permit while under the supervision of a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Certified Sex Therapist.
